Patient Group:
We are looking for additional patients who may be interested in joining the practice patient group. Follow the link "Have your say" for further information.

We work as a core team of doctors, nurses, health care assistants, receptionists, secretaries, and dispensers who are employed by the Caythorpe & Ancaster Practice. We have close links with an extended team of District Nurses, Health Visitors and Macmillan Nurses who are not employed directly by the practice.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Macmillan Nurses

Macmillan nurses offer advice, information and support to people with cancer. They help them make informed decisions about their treatment, and guide them through the maze of different services.
