Flu and covid clinics

If you feel that you are eligible but have not been invited please ring the reception team at the surgery and they will be happy to help you with this.

The clinic is for booked appointments and we have several more dates in October and November if you have not yet booked.

As ever please attend in time for your appointment, wear loose fitting clothing and have coats off and sleeves rolled up in the waiting room ready to be called for your vaccination.

If you are eligible you will also be offered a covid vaccination at the surgery. If you would like this it will take place straight after your flu jab.

Whilst this clinic is taking place the Medical Equipment Trust, who raise money to buy equipment for patient care that is not normally provided by the NHS, will be selling tickets for their grand draw.

This is a great charity that supports local patients and if you feel able to please bring along the means to purchase a ticket or two, the prizes this year are fantastic. The MET now have the ability to accept payment either in cash or also card payments.

Finally a huge thank you in advance to the volunteers and our nursing and reception team for giving up their Saturdays over the next few weeks to provide this valuable service. It is a long day and they have very sore fingers by the end of it but they always appreciate your good humour and gratitude at these events.
