Easter bank holiday

To support our colleagues working in hospital care, staff working in general practice have been asked to forgo their Easter holiday this year and open practices on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Like many other NHS general practice sites across the country we have agreed to this without question. This will ensure patients remain safe and cared for in their homes and local community rather than having to turn to hospitals if they need support.
Both surgeries will be open as usual on both Friday and Monday. If you have a problem that you would like help with please contact us via askmyGP in the first instance if you are able to, if you cannot, our reception team will be on hand and happy to help you on the telephone.
Our dispensaries will be open as usual so please do not worry, there is no need to order your medication early to cover this time, our delivery service will also be operating as usual.
We do have one very important favour to ask of you though. It will for many people be incredibly tempting to quietly visit friends or family over the weekend. Please don’t do this. By staying at home and observing social distancing advice you are quite literally saving lives and taking pressure away from the NHS. We know this time is difficult but please do keep it up, you are doing a great job!
