Face coverings

As a practice we have followed closely the advice on face coverings. We believe that alongside good hand hygiene, social distancing remains the best advice to protect us all but we also realise that this is not always possible. Public health advice has been updated to include the use of face coverings, cloth masks a scarf or even home made from a t-shirt when entering confined public spaces to protect other vulnerable people around you.

Obviously as a practice we do care for some of the most vulnerable and poorly people in our local community. Often this is at their home but sometimes we do need them to come to the surgery for certain treatment and therefore we are going to start asking you to help us protect vulnerable people when you attend the practice. We are encouraging patients to start to wear non-surgical face masks or face coverings when attending the surgery or collecting their prescriptions as soon as they possibly can.
