Digital note taking

In your upcoming appointment, both face to face and telephone based your clinician may be using a new tool to help them write the appointment note about your visit. The tool is called TORTUS which uses ambient AI technology, that turns words spoken by you and your clinician into a written summary note and letter (if relevant). TORTUS will not keep your words, all data is deleted once the documents are generated. Your clinician will then check the documents for accuracy and completeness before approving and adding it to your medical record. If you would prefer that the clinician did not use this tool then please feel free to ask them not to, it will not change the care that is provided to you at all.
